Justin Randolph, historian and author of Mississippi Law – Policing and Reform in America’s Jim Crow Countryside will be in conversation with a lawyer from the National Lawyers Guild’s Federal Repression Task Force. Randolph’s book explores rural law enforcement and the development of the state police while offering histories of community defense and police reform. This conversation will explore the coevolution of repression and resistance.
